What a wonderful and cost-effective way to celebrate! I think your idea for an off-shoot blog about money-saving weddings is a great one. I regularly watch a wedding reality program on HGTV and marvel at the lengths (money-wise especially) that some brides and grooms go make their wedding days "perfect", when it's the married life afterwards that needs the focus.
